Getting To Taupo

Taupo is located at the Centre of the North island. 3 1/2 hours drive from Auckland or 4 1/2 hours from Wellington.

Alternatively it is 45min flight.

If you would like to maximise your fishing time we recommend flying to Taupo.

If you have not visited New Zeland before then driving from either Wellington or Auckland will allow your to see some interesting countryside.
